guette ès lièvres grist mill and a special excursion

A unique experience awaits you at the nearby Guette ès Lièvres grist mill built in 1668 where you will spend the day making bread just as it has been made for hundreds of years.

In the morning you will prepare the dough in wooden troughs with the help of Jean-Paul, Armand, Eugène and Theo. While it rises you will enjoy a walking tour of another nearby mill and a delicious picnic overlooking the old mill wheel and the stream.

In the afternoon you will bake your bread in a neighboring village stone oven. While you wait you can enjoy a visit in the churchyard and a leisurely walk in the countryside.

At the end of the day an apéritif is served to celebrate your accomplishment. Loaf in hand and ready to break, you will return to La Prévenchère!
